Here is the recent blogpost from FODMAP Friendly celebrating Kea Cookies certification:
Introducing the newly FODMAP Friendly certified Kea Cookies!
Kea Cookies offers delicious, FODMAP Friendly cookies free from gluten, wheat, dairy, and egg. They create flavourful, fun options for people with dietary restrictions, including those following a low FODMAP diet.
What is the inspiration behind Kea Cookies?
Kea Cookies was born out of love and necessity in 1988, when the original owner wanted to create cookies that were safe and delicious for his coeliac children. This personal motivation laid the foundation for a brand that cares deeply about the needs of people with food sensitivities. In 2014, Andrew and Nicole Hardie, together with Nicole’s father, John Xanthopol, purchased Kea Cookies and have run it as a family business, continuing to grow the brand while staying true to its core values.
Inspired by New Zealand’s Kea bird, renowned for its cheeky and playful personality, it is the perfect mascot for a brand focused on making dietary restrictions more enjoyable and less serious.
What makes Kea Cookies different?
What separates Kea Cookies from others on the market is simple, they prioritise taste and inclusivity. They craft cookies that are free from gluten, wheat, dairy, and egg, and are also vegan, ensuring that people with various dietary requirements can indulge in a delicious treat without compromise. Their cookies are not only safe for people with food sensitivities, but they also deliver rich, satisfying flavours that rival any traditional cookie. Whether you’re snacking on their Chocolate, Vanilla, or Gingernut varieties, you can enjoy a classic cookie experience, minus the allergens and now they are FODMAP Friendly!
