- Preheat oven to 175C on fan bake and line dish with baking paper. Place topping ingredients (peanut butter and sugar) into a small bowl. Mix together and set aside. In a microwave safe bowl, break chocolate into small pieces and melt. If done in a microwave, do in 30 seconds bursts and stir in between until all chocolate is melted. In a large bowl, sift all dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt) and combine. Once combined, add in oil, milk and melted chocolate and mix ingredients into a batter. Pour batter in lined dish. Retrieve peanut butter topping and place on top of brownie batter in stripes or blobs. Use the back of a knife to mix the two mixtures together to make swirls. Break Kea’s Peanut Brownie cookies into small chunks and place on top of brownie mixture. Place dish in the oven for 30-35 minutes. Check to see if cooked by piercing brownie with a skewer, and only small crumbs are on the skewer once removed. Once brownies are cooked, remove from oven and leave to cool. Once cooled, cut brownie and store in airtight container. Makes 16 Brownies
